Data Capture

Data used in GIS often come from many sources. They are mainly obtained from Manual Digitization and Scanning of aerial photography, paper maps, and existing digital data sets. Satellite, Remote sensing satellite imagery GPS are data input sources of GIS. There are two basic methods of digitization – Manual Digitization and Scanning.

Data Transfer

Presentation Data

The main task of the GIS software is to determine proper default values for lines, colours, filling patterns, symbols, text. The presentation node will contain the following functions:
